"Escape est né du mouvement, entre la fragilité et la maîtrise.
Un oiseau minuscule, le Républicain social face à un félin spectaculaire, le caracal.
Mais aussi : une intelligence collective face à un instinct solitaire.
J’ai voulu capturer cet instant suspendu où rien n’est encore joué.
L’oiseau va-t-il s’échapper ? Peut-être. Peut-être pas.
Ce dessin parle d’instinct, de survie, mais surtout… d’espoir."

“Escape” was born from tension — the kind between fragility and control.
A tiny bird, the Sociable Weaver, facing a spectacular feline: the caracal.
But also, a clash between collective intelligence and solitary instinct.
I wanted to capture that suspended moment where nothing is certain yet.
Will the bird escape? Maybe. Maybe not.
This drawing speaks of instinct, survival — but above all… hope.
What if the caracal failed — and that was part of the plan?
What if the escape wasn’t a flight… but a call toward something else?
